I’m on location at Guitarworks in Greenfield, IN reviewing the Takamine TSF48C Santa Fe.
I had so much fun reviewing this guitar. I love how it is made, and it’s as good as any guitar I’ve ever played.
The Cooltube sytem really sets this guitar apart. I demo different ways of playing with the Cooltube turned on and off.
These guitars are great for recording and playing on stage.
This is a southwest, Native American themed guitar with eagle inlays on the neck. It is a scaled down jumbo shape with a cut-away.
The body is solid wood with Spruce on the front and Rosewood on the back.
It has a mahogany neck and ebony finger board. It also has the longer 25 1/2 scale and a Palathetic under-saddle pickup.
This is a great flat-picking guitar, and it’s also good for finger style.
It is great with altered tunings. It stays in-tune very well while adjusting to different tunings.
It produces a pretty sound for intricate lead work and strumming.
Overall, this guitar has beautiful resonance. With a state-of-the-art pre-amp system, this guitar is stage ready at all times.
